Lhasa to Kathmandu overland tour via EBC itinerary:
Day 01: Kathmandu to Lhasa by Flight
Welcome to Lhasa city (3,650 m). Upon your arrival, we assist you from the international airport to our hotel. Rest for acclimatization Overnight at hotel.
Day 02:
Full day sightseeing tour around Lhasa. Visit the famous Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, and Tibet Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03:
Full day sightseeing tour around Lhasa. Visit famous Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04:
Early morning ride of 325km for 5-6hours from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m) via Karo La Pass and Yamdrok Tso Lake. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05:
Today we ride 95km for 2-3hours from Gyantse to Shigatse (3,900m) via Shalu Monastery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06:
Today we ride 355km for 8-9km from Shigatse to Rongbuk (5,000m) Overnight at hotel.
Day 07:
Today we ride 257km for 50-6hours from Rongbuk to Kerung (2,300m) via Everest Base Camp. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08:
Final drive for 4-5hours from Kerung to Kathmandu (1,350m). Farewell.
