Mustang refers to Tibet like arid landscape with open meadows. Mustang - a formerly forbidden kindgom along the Kali Gandaki river sharing border with Tibet-China. Officially there are two parts - Lower and Upper. Upper Mustang has a long and rich history that makes it one of the most interesting places on earth. Opened to foreign travellers only around early 1990s, Upper Mustang still is vastly unexplored.
JOIN US on this adventurous ride to Upper Mustang! Riders must be in extremely good health and hearts filled with great sense of adventure. Must have good technical riding skills too. Roads are narrow, gorges are deep, dusty, rocky and often dangerous. But the rewards are amazing! Architectural remnants, religious and cultural monuments, ancient caves, arid moonlike landscapes and the snowy peaks, nomadic lifestyles are the highlights of the area

ABOUT OUR BIKES: We use Royal Enfield Himalayan 411CC or Honda CRF 250CC with electric start. Front disk brake, rear drum brake, 5 speed left gear shift.

UPPER MUSTANG RIDE itinerary:

Day 01:

Ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara's Lakeside (200km). Overnight in a 3 star hotel.

Day 02:

Ride to Marpha (Approx. 130km). 65km black topped. Rests all off-road. Overnight at Hotel Tanpopo.

Day 03:

Ride to Tsarang via Jomsom, Kagbeni. Full off-road. Overnight in Maya's Inn, simple guest house.

Day 04:

Ride to Lo Manthang. 3840m. Explore the walled city and visit the oldest monasteries. Overnight in Lotus Holiday Inn.

Day 05:

Ride to Tibet Border over Karola Pass. Visit Chhosyar village and cave on the way back. Back to the hotel.

Day 06:

Ride back to Muktinath via Kagbeni. Start early and ride back to Muktinath. Overnight in Eureka hotel.

Day 07:

Enjoy the mountain views in the morning. Ride back to Tatopani (Hotspring).

Day 08:

Ride back to Pokhara's Lakeside. Overnight in 3 star hotel.

Day 09:

Ride back to Kathmandu. Overnight in 3 hotel.
