This is one of the best day trips for hiking lover, who love forest walking. After having breakfast we take an hour countryside drive to Kakani (2030m) having great views. After exploring Kakani with superb Mountain View from Annapurna to Everest, we start our hiking through Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The trail goes gradually up in the beginning for less than 30 minutes and descends down the hill and continues hiking through the woodlands, past waterfalls and out of the forest until you reach bus stand where our bus will be waiting for you.
We have a great view of Himalaya, the countryside and chances of seeing many flora and fauna. The trek is about 5-6 hrs depending on your pace.
