Utterly marvellous, still very untouched and an irregular trekking area of Makalu region is very close to the Everest region. Because of Arun River, it is known as Arun Valley too. The Arun Valley is an unimaginable area and it is famous for both the culture and nature. This area is a naturalist's paradise and it is teeming with many precious plants, animals and Mt. Makalu (8475m.)birds and is a significant part of the Himalayan environment and ecosystem.

People living in this remote place depend on cattle herds, farming and small-time trade. The number of population is 32000. Various castes and ethnic groups from this population, they are: Sherpa in the higher elevation, Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Newar, Brahmins, Chhetris and the others in the rest, The tour to those places have many attractions because of the cultural reasons too.

DAY 01:

Fly Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and trek to Khandbari. Overnight in camp.

DAY 02:

Trek Khandbari to Fururu.

DAY 03:

Trek Fururu to Num.

DAY 04:

Trek Num to Sinduwa.

DAY 05:

Trek Sinduwa to Tashigaon.

DAY 06:

Trek Tashigaon to Kauma.

DAY 07:

Trek Kauma to Mumbuk.

DAY 08:

Trek Mumbuk to Neh Kharka.

DAY 09:

Trek Neh Kharka to Serson.

DAY 10:

Trek Serson to Makalu Base Camp.

DAY 11:

Rest day in Makalu B.C. Explore the Base Camp areas.

DAY 12:

Base Camp to Neh Kharka.

DAY 13:

Trek Neh Kharka to Mum buk.

DAY 14:

Trek Mumbuk to Kauma.

DAY 15:

Trek Kauma to Tashigaon.

DAY 16:

Trek Tashigaon to Balung.

DAY 17:

Trek Balung to Phukuwa.

DAY 18:

Trek Phukuwa to Bumling.

DAY 19:

Trek Bumling to Tunlingtar.

DAY 20:

Fly Tumlingtar to Biratnagar and then to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.
