You can travel by Domestic Flight: Rara Lake Tour is among one of the most popular destinations in Nepal. The easiest way to travel to Rara Lake is to take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalganj (KTM-KEP) & take another domestic flight from Nepalganj to Tancha (Mugu) airport and walk around 2-3 hours all the way to Rara Lake. There is a daily scheduled flight from Kathmandu to Nepalganj however the flight from Nepalganj to Talcha is not scheduled.
